Whether you are a novice or experienced paddler, you can join us on Lake Union and Lake Washington. We offer a experienced coaching, experienced paddlers, and several top of the line OC6 canoes on which you can cut your teeth. Four trial practices are offered so you can check us out before you decide to join. Should you decide to join, our membership rates are as follows: - Adults $135
- Youth (18 years and younger) $15.
- Student (Full time college or High School) $60
- Winter Membership (Good September through March) $60
American Canoe Club Membership
Everyone who paddles with us MUST have insurance through the American Canoe Association (ACA). You may renew via the ACA website, www.americancanoe. org Go to JOIN, and then click Individual Membership Renewal. The first page will collect your contact information—name, address, etc. The second page will list the membership type. Choose Paddle America Member, and then type in the name of the club (Seattle Outrigger Canoe Club). The cost for membership is $30.00 for an annual membership. Please print out a waiver and sign it and send it to the ACA office if you have not signed a waiver with the club. You may locate the waiver by clicking on the “EZ Links” tab. Scroll down the page and you will come to the waiver. Once you have your number, please contact John Grant so he can update the club list.
